Consultation Booking Terms & Consent
A few things to read and agree to before we lock in your paid consultation. It only takes a minute, and it means we’re both clear on what this session is — and isn’t — before we begin.
Choose how you’d like to talk
Most of our consultations happen online — it’s faster to schedule, works around shift rosters, and gets you the same quality advice.
Video Call
Zoom, face-to-face without the drive — a good option if a call doesn’t suit.
Phone Call
Simple and direct. Our default recommendation for almost everyone.
In-Person — Mackay
At a meeting room booked at CQU Ooralea. Photo ID required beforehand — see below.
Applying from overseas? Offshore partner visa (309/100) enquiries qualify for a reduced-fee initial video consultation — mention this when you book. Same conversation, same attention, lower barrier to getting started while you’re still overseas.
The details we’ll need from you
- Your full name, and the name of anyone else involved in your matter (e.g. a partner or sponsor)
- Your best contact number and email address
- A short description of what you’d like to discuss — visa type if known, and your current visa status
- Your general location, and whether you’re currently in Australia or offshore
- If booking an in-person appointment in Mackay: a clear photo of your current photo ID (passport photo page, or driver licence), sent ahead of the appointment
We ask for full details before confirming a booking so the time we spend together is actually useful, rather than spent on basic intake — and so we can flag early on if something about your matter needs a different kind of appointment than the one you’ve booked.
